Eight honest answers. To the questions everyone asks.
Anything that promises warmth deserves a little suspicion. So before you buy, here is how FibreHeat works and where its limits are, answered as plainly as we can.
1.How can a glove heat up without a battery?
The warmth comes from the yarn itself. Heat-returning fibers are knitted into the fabric to hand your body’s own heat back to your skin, so less of it escapes into the cold. There is nothing to switch on, because there is nothing electrical in it.
2.Will I actually feel it?
You should notice a gentle warmth building soon after you put them on. It isn’t the hot-plate feeling of a heated glove. It is steadier and quieter, more like a warm hand around yours.
3.How long does it last?
As long as you’re wearing it. There is no charge to run down, so the warmth doesn’t fade halfway through the commute or the dog walk. Take them off, put them back on, and they pick up where they left off.
4.How do I wash it?
Check the care label, because it depends on the piece. Our glove liners, socks, base layer shirt and throw are machine washable: cold, delicate cycle, no bleach, tumble dry low. Our gloves, mittens, hats and neck warmers are dry clean only. Either way there are no wires or batteries to take out first.

This is where the warmth lives.
FibreHeat yarn, twisted into the knit. The heat-returning fiber is spun into every strand rather than added on top, so the warmth is part of the fabric itself. No wires, no pads, no power pack. Just yarn doing a little more than yarn usually does.
5.Is it bulky?
No. Because the warmth comes from the fiber rather than extra padding, the knit stays thin and soft. Your fingers keep enough freedom for keys, zips and dog leads.
6.Can I wear liners under my own gloves?
That is exactly what they are for. The liners are thin enough to slip under ski gloves, work gloves or a favorite leather pair, adding warmth without changing how they fit.
7.Does it help with Raynaud’s?
FibreHeat isn’t a medical treatment, and we won’t pretend it is. What it offers is gentle, steady warmth you can wear all day, which is what many people with cold hands look for. If you have Raynaud’s, talk it through with your doctor too.
8.What if it doesn’t work for me?
Then tell us. Warmth is personal, and we would rather hear the truth than leave you with a pair you don’t love. Our team will help you find a better fit or talk through your options.

01 Warmth & technology
How does FibreHeat® self-heating fabric work?
Our patented technology combines several fibers into a highly technical fabric that starts generating heat as soon as you put it on. It converts your body’s natural moisture into heat, and wicks moisture away so you stay warm and dry.
Do the gloves and socks need charging or batteries?
No. There are no batteries, chargers or wires in any FibreHeat® product. The warmth comes from the fabric itself.
Who are FibreHeat® products designed for?
In short, everyone. Our products are designed for a range of uses, including medical, athletics, military and everyday wear.
How do they perform in wet or harsh weather?
Our self-heating gloves and socks work in many environments, indoors and out. Whether you’re watching winter sports or escaping the office air conditioning, they adapt to the conditions.
Are they suitable for people with Raynaud’s, lupus or arthritis?
Many people with cold hands and feet, including people with Raynaud’s, lupus and arthritis, wear FibreHeat® for gentle, steady warmth. FibreHeat® is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition, so talk to your doctor about your symptoms.
Which indoor settings are they good for?
Because the warmth comes from your own body heat, they work wherever you are: an over-air-conditioned office, a cold home, or work in refrigeration.
02 Sizing
How do I find my glove size?
Measure around your palm, just below the knuckles, thumb excluded, and match it to the table in our Size & Fit guide. Product pages also have a Size guide link next to the sizes.
I’m between sizes. Which should I choose?
Knit gloves should feel snug, not tight. If you’ll wear liners under other gloves, size up; if you’re unsure, contact us and we’ll help you choose.
How do sock sizes work?
Our socks come in S, M and L by your usual US shoe size. See the sock sizing guide.
Can I exchange for a different size?
Yes. We offer free size exchanges on eligible items, pending availability; you cover the return postage.
03 Care & washing
Can I machine wash FibreHeat®?
Some of it. Glove liners and socks: machine wash cold on a delicate cycle, don’t bleach, tumble dry low, remove while damp and lay flat to dry. The base layer shirt and throw blanket: machine wash cold on a delicate cycle and tumble dry low. All our gloves (other than the liners), mittens, hats and neck warmers are dry clean only. The care label on each piece has the final word.

04 Shipping & returns
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, on US orders over $99. Canadian orders ship for a flat $18.
What is your return policy?
Return unworn items within 30 days of delivery, in their original packaging with tags and documentation. Return labels are included but not prepaid. Face masks and final-sale items can’t be returned. See our refund policy for details.
Are there refunds on sale items?
There are no refunds on sale items or face masks. We do offer free size exchanges on sale items, with return postage paid by you, pending availability.
05 Orders
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards, FibreHeat® Gift Cards and store credit. Shop Pay, PayPal, Google Pay and other express options are available at checkout.
Can I update or cancel my order after it’s placed?
To ship as quickly as possible, we can’t change or cancel an order once it’s placed, including the shipping address and method.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. FibreHeat® Gift Cards come in amounts from $10 to $100 and are delivered by email.
