Last updated: October 4, 2026

This privacy policy explains how New York Knitworks, LLC ("FibreHeat", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit or shop at fibreheat.com (the "Site"), and the choices you have. If you have any questions, contact us using the details at the end of this policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Orders: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, and what you bought. Payments are handled by our payment processors. We don't store your full card number.
  • Account: if you create an account, your login details and order history.
  • Email and text sign-ups: your email address or mobile number, and your marketing preferences.
  • Reviews: your name as you enter it, your rating, your review and anything else you choose to include.
  • Messages: what you send us through our contact form or by email, and your contact details so we can reply.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the links you click, how you arrived at the Site, and your approximate location based on your IP address.
  • Cookies, pixels and similar technologies: small files and scripts that keep your cart and preferences working, help us understand how the Site is used, and measure our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Site, such as the cart, may not work without them.

2. How we use your information

  • To process, ship and support your orders, returns and exchanges.
  • To run your account and answer your questions.
  • To send emails or texts you've signed up for, such as offers, back-in-stock alerts and review requests.
  • To show and moderate product reviews.
  • To understand how the Site is used and improve it.
  • To show and measure ads for FibreHeat on other websites and social media.
  • To prevent fraud, keep the Site secure, and meet our legal obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information for money. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for the work they do for us:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and processes checkout and payments, along with the payment providers available at checkout (such as Shop Pay, PayPal and Google Pay).
  • Shipping carriers (USPS and Canada Post) and Loop Returns, to deliver orders and handle returns.
  • Klaviyo, to send our emails and text messages.
  • Stamped, to collect and display product reviews.
  • Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager and Merchant Center) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), for site analytics and advertising.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business.

Using advertising pixels from Google and Meta to show you FibreHeat ads elsewhere may count as "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising under some US state laws. You can opt out at any time; see "Your rights and choices" below.

4. Your rights and choices

  • Marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link in any email.
  • Text messages: reply STOP to any message.
  • Access, correction and deletion: ask us for a copy of your personal information, to correct it, or to delete it. We'll keep only what we need for legal or accounting reasons, such as order records.
  • Targeted advertising: email us to opt out of having your information shared for targeted advertising.

To make any of these requests, email cs@fibreheat.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.

5. California residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act), California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request access to, correction of, or deletion of it; to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. In the last 12 months we have collected the categories of information described in section 1 (identifiers, commercial information, internet activity and approximate location) for the purposes in section 2. We don't sell personal information for money, and we don't knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. You can use an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf.

California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code § 1798.83) also lets you ask whether we've shared personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing. We don't.

Residents of other US states with similar privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and others) have comparable rights, and can make requests the same way. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.

6. Canadian residents

We collect, use and share personal information of Canadian customers with your consent, and only for the purposes described in this policy. You can withdraw your consent to marketing at any time, and you can ask to access or correct your personal information by emailing us. Our service providers may store and process your information in the United States and other countries, where it may be subject to the laws of those countries.

7. Keeping your information

We keep personal information for as long as we need it to provide our products and services, keep our business records, and meet our legal and tax obligations. After that, we delete or anonymise it.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, together with those of our service providers, to protect your personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Site isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Site.
