How FibreHeat works
The heat is in the fabric. Not in a battery.
No wires, no charging, no power pack. FibreHeat works with the warmth you already make, so it's there whenever you pull your liners on.
The fibers generate heat.
FibreHeat fibers are knitted right into the fabric. As soon as you put them on, they turn your body’s natural moisture into warmth.
They store it.
That warmth is held in microscopic heat-packs inside the fibers, instead of escaping into the cold.
And return it to you.
Stored heat is released back to your skin as far infrared warmth, evenly and continuously, for as long as you're wearing them.
The simple comparison
FibreHeat vs. battery‑heated gloves.
Both keep your hands warm. One asks a lot less of you.
A general comparison with typical battery-heated gloves. Individual products vary.
| FibreHeat | Battery-heated | |
|---|---|---|
| Weight | Feels like an everyday knit glove | Extra weight from packs and wiring |
| Charging | Never. There's nothing to plug in | Needs charging before you head out |
| Bulk | Slim enough to layer or wear alone | Bulkier cuffs to house the battery |
| Washing | Nothing to remove before cleaning | Battery out first, often hand-wash only |
| Wear time | Warm for as long as you wear them | Warmth ends when the battery runs down |

Reviews from verified FibreHeat buyers, collected and shown by Stamped.
No reviews yet. Be the first to tell us how they keep you warm.
Does it need batteries or charging?
No. There are no batteries, wires or chargers in any FibreHeat® product. The warmth comes from FIBREHEAT® fibers knitted into the fabric, which hand your own body heat back to you.
How warm will it feel?
A gentle warmth that builds soon after you put it on. It isn't the hot-plate feel of a battery-heated product. It's steadier and quieter, and it lasts as long as you're wearing it.
How do sock sizes work?
Our socks come in Small, Medium and Large by your usual US shoe size. The Size guide next to the sizes shows which size matches your shoe.
What's the difference between City and Mountain socks?
City socks are made for everyday wear: at work, at home and out and about. Mountain socks are our winter sock for outdoor activities, with a slim, supportive fit. Both have FIBREHEAT® technology knitted in.
Can I machine wash them?
Yes. Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle and don't bleach. Tumble dry low, take them out while still damp and lay flat to finish drying.
How big is the throw?
About 50 × 70 inches. It’s a fine-gauge knit, thin but substantial, for cold winter nights, cool summer evenings or a chilly air-conditioned room.
Will it help with Raynaud's?
FibreHeat® isn't a medical device and isn't intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition. What it offers is gentle, steady warmth you can wear all day, which is what many people with Raynaud's and cold hands and feet look for. Talk to your doctor about your symptoms.
Can I return or exchange it?
Unused items from US orders can be returned with tags attached and in the original packaging, as long as they reach us within 30 days of delivery. You arrange and pay for return shipping, and refunds go to your original payment method. Need a different size?
